So I just rebuilt my CN250 for my KPX Teranex buggy. I got it running after some timing issues. And I ran it for about an hour, just cruising around the yard and letting it idle, nothing hard. So I figured I'd change the oil since the engine had not been broken in before and I had installed a big bore kit. And there was coolant in the oil, a nice milky brown color.
I put all new water pump seals in as well as a new water pump assembly. I also used torque specs for all the bolts according to the Honda shop manual during assembly.
I plan on taking the head to a machine shop and having them check it over for cracks and such.
But is there any common things that could cause this? Or any common mistakes during reassembly that could cause this to happen?

I know JohhnyFazer got a bad big bore kit from an ebay dealer... I went with a trusted dealer for a few $ more on mine just so i didnt have to worry about it. Where did you get it from?

I had read about the bad bbk's, so I did spend the money and get a kit from buggypartsnw. So i don't think the bbk is the problem. But I may have the machine shop check it just in case.

Well before you get all too offended about the milky oil, run it all again. When you have an engine apart, you would be amazed at how much crap gets in there. Just change your oil. Then run another heat cycle. See what's up then. Also mark your coolant levels to make sure you're not losing any.
I've seen many a good engine go back to the axe over this, only for the builder to not find anything wrong.
