The Joyner is a very well built buggy. You're gonna like it. It is a tad heavy but there's a ton of stuff you can do to fix that!
There are plenty of Joyner 250 owners on here so I am sure they will chime in soon! Welcome to the club and hope to see you on the trails!
Like JWI just mentioned, put your ride type and location in your signature so we can reply appropriately to any questions you have in the future. Welcome aboard!

Thank you everyone. I live in southern california and the buggy was used but not a lot the guy won it in a raffle so he took it out once and sold it to a dealer ship near me. The dealer ship said they checked everything out but i would rather be safe than sorry. Driving it around my backyard i noticed when i shift from gears it makes a clinking sound sometimes is that something to worry about?

Tom has is all wrong, the buggy is not heavy, the motor is to small, and it's the Best built 250! The gears only grind if you shift while moving, or if it's not fully in gear. Welcome.

They do very well on gas consumption. That tank would last you all day of riding.
CVT mods and the intake would be the first basic mods.
Glade
are there certain ones you would recommend?
17-18 gram sliders with red or Blue main spring are the most common CVT mods.
Replace the stock air box with a K&N or UNI type filter. Be sure to get an outerwear comvering for the filter. You will need to rejet the carb to richen the mix because the Performance filter allows more air.
