Hey guys,

I am looking to buy a new 250cc buggy and thought I would check in here and see what recommendation you guys have in terms of what brand and things like that. I am looking to keep the price around 2500 bucks. Right now I am leaning towards a Kinroad Sahara. Any thoughts?

In regards to buying used...I bought my first go kart used and have had nothing but problems with it. I guess some of that is my fault as I did not know enough about them and what they could handle. I have pretty rough terrain around my house and the poor go kart just didn't hold up which is why I am looking for something better. I would prefer to go the new route if possible just for the piece of mind in knowing that it will be well maintained.

Even new, these buggies aren't without their problems. Buy used, and the money saved can be used for upgrades.

I agree with you there. Any recommendation on what to look for in terms of wear and tear and whether or not it was well maintained? Also, I found a used 2009 HammerHead GTS...it is 150cc...how would that compare to a 250cc? Here is the link:

Here is another I found:

Do a search on here and you will find threads for what to look for when buying used. Dazon is out of business, but there are some on here who have them. I don't know enough about either of those buggies to make an educated comment on them.

BIGE: thanks for the info. on the Dazon. I have decided to go with the Roketa GK-13B. Seems to be a pretty solid buggy.

Any suggestions on where I can get one? Have been looking online, was going to purchase from Emrock ATV but read bad reviews about the company. Any chance you would be able to get your hands on one?

Isn't Tom Syc a Roketa dealer now?
