Recently purchased an 07 Gs moon and I think it needs a new belt. The axle runs through the cover and I have no idea how to remove it. Does the axle just pull out? Does the rubber boot on the axle need to be removed? I've never really worked on one of these before so any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have an 06 you have to remove the cv axel along with the hub and castle nut that holds the hub on the axel. Then you remove the belt cover then you will see the variator and the clutch you have to remove both of these with an impact then you will be able to remove your belt I have done it a couple times to replace the crank seal behind the variator it's a pretty intense job if you don't know what your doing good luck to you
