Roketa 250 buggy replaceing reverse cable is there a easy way to replace cable, hooked up rear of cable first now the cable ball will not reach shifter do I need to hook up shifter end first? Does it make any difference.

Ok here is what I did and how I did it. removed rear cover two screws then removed snap ring, removed old cable ball. hooked up new cable reassembled.
Shifter was tough removed shifter attached new cable barely could reach ball with needle nose pliars pulled enough slack to install. took two people and several trys to accomplish .
There may be an easy way to do this if it is I would like to know.
Also be sure and lube the new cable before installing there is a how to on this site. also on the shifter barrel I would cover with a plastic bag to keep water out of cable just my thoughts.

Ok new cable lasted 4 times Chinese junk.
