New to the forum and would like to get opinions on the performance and reliabilty of the chery 812cc engine. Also any mods to help with the performance (no such thing as too much). Thanks in advance!

The Chery 800 (812cc) is a great 3 cyl engine. Dual overhead cams, 4 valves per cylinder producing a claimed 58 horsepower with electronic fuel injection. It's very durable and makes more power than any other stock 800 China buggy.

The quickest way to pickup an additional 5 horsepower is to gut the cat and replace the lousy stock air cleaner with a K&N. I'll post a video of my 800 here in the next few days.

Thanks for the quick response guys. Team Farm it is in the new Sand Reeper. I will be carrying them soon and wanted to know as much as i can about the Chery812cc. The good and the bad, I need to know what to expect and how to address any problems and what mods are available. BTW I live in Florida.

Jaxn thanks for the tip. I'll post pics asap.

Those are pics from McCoy Motorsports in Pikeville, Kentucky.
I've been there many times.
Good people.
They are the East Coast distributor for Reepers.
