Well I yanked the cfmoto today. Now I'll push it forward and put the crossfire behind it. Yank that motor. Then you know what time it is.

I've cut out the stock motor mounts. I left the cradle but took the mounts. It will be much easier than making new ones.

You got to post some video of that buggy climbing in low. If you do the internals, I bet it would do wheelies in low.

You better put brakes on it because it was hard enough to stop it with the 180 pushing it, you cut that thing loose with the 250 on it and no brakes and you'll kill 800 people before you get it stopped.

Wouldn't it be easier to just cut out a section of the floor pan and "Flintstone" it?

That wouldn't be a death trap or anything. It sounds fun!

Go for it...just added extra life insurance so I'm set. Nothing says I love you like snipping brake lines. :)

What this thread really means is we arent going riding anytime soon.

:D maybe you better get him on the molding first that away he will have had plenty of practice on angles and things with the miter cuts on the molding.
that away he won't make a miss cut when he goes to cutting metal :)

Chuck do you have a quad for the swap, or are you looking? Are quads cheap down there in FL?

It's hard to find running quads for under $1700 here in Vegas. Most quads for sale are sports quads, the polaris 500's are sky high. That's mainly because only hunters own them, and they are all low use. My next door neighbor has a 500, rides it once a year when he goes to Mexico.

Motor and front suspension in order ltz 400 then 400ex. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the warrior. Reliable yea but pretty down on power in the quad so I can imagine less than desirable in a buggy. Just my 2
