Has anyone had any experience with expressatvs.com and or the Hurricane 250? I am considering one for my son for Chrismas and they have the best price I have found. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Pat

If you search for this drop shipper on the forum you get plenty of results:

search.php?keywords=expressatv*&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

There's not much positive to say about them. I suggest you contact one of the trusted dealers who have better track record:

also do a BBB serach, you wont like what you find. you have to look at more than price when looking for a buggy. in this industry its truley " you get what you pay for "

Thanks for the help guys.

I am kind of learning that you have to be really careful in this industry.

Though we all get our machines from the same suppliers it is how the individual dealers take care of the customer after the sale that really matters in the end. It is not always the lowest price that is the best deal....in fact it hardly ever is.

You may pay a little more from a reputable dealer. It the the peace of mind that you get knowing that any problems will be handled properly when you buy from one of the trusted dealers.

I bought my buggy from ATV express. Delivered to some loading dock and I had to go there to pick it up because the crate was too big for them to drop from lift to my house. The are not the most helpful, but will provide parts if you send them a picture. I deal with JC there and have bought seveal parts from him. The tranny in the Chineese buggy (viper 260 aka XYKD260-1) i got from them manufactured by http://xingyueshen.com/ does not impress. I've broken the gears in the box twice. for the price and if you don't abuse it is worth it. If I had to do it again, I think I'd buy a hammerhead (used).

[-X Don't do it. I did, I should'nt have. Almost everything on my Sahara
has broke at least once. I now have a trashed head due to a valve seat
breaking loose. Go with a local buggy dealer. It's not worth it, just to save
a few bucks. You'll pay much more in the long run. :x RANGER

Pat, where are you located? Update your profile with your location.

Glad you asked before you spent your money. The company you asked about is in the same class as GoKart USA. Stay clear of them! The dealers on this fourm can give you everything you need and one of them might be close to you.
