For the Yerf-Dogs out there, Buggy Depot is now selling some new items:

1. Tie rod standoffs to realign your steering arms when using in-line McMaster or Buggy Depot ball joints.

2. Front wheel hub and 8" rim upgrade for those of you still running the stock 6" rim/hubs.

3. Chain & rotor bash guard under your axle for those of you with vertically challenged buggies.

Most of us have already upgraded to taller tires, but I highly recommend the standoffs if you are running aftermarket joints. It will put the correct geometry back into the steering arms and make a noticeable difference in steering response. I was lucky enough to get a beta set earlier this year and have been pushing Buggy Depot ever since I tried them to package these with their joints.

If you look at my Yerf pictures it keeps the steering arms parallel with the a-arms.

I may have to get me some of those stand-offs. I can't see the covers so I'm not sure about those...

Just placed my order for the stand-offs. It's a decent deal.

I'm sure you'll like the standoffs Chris! I think Charlie needs a set of them for his YerfDog.

Charlie's Heim joints are lower profile than the inline joints. Unless his steering arms do not parallel his a-arms, he does not need them. The same can be said for the stock Yerf-Dog joints.
