Ok, so one look at my sig shows that I've invested some time, effort, and cash on my Carter. But of course I want a bit more! My question is this: How much of a difference will swapping out the clutch springs make? I've got an MRP clutch with whatever springs they put in stock installed right now. Are the extra springs that came with it stiffer? Does it make the clutch engage at a higher rpm, and if so is it enough of a difference to warrant ripping my cvt open again and facing the facebuster to change it out? And yes, before anyone says it, I used the search engine but there wasn't anything concrete in what I found.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer. I can't stress my appreciation of how much of a resource this site has been.

I have a korso clutch and bought a set of mrp springs so I can adjust the engaugaement rpm.

I changed from the korso springs and put the yellow mrp springs in and now the clutch engauges at about 3800 rpm, where the korso springs came in at 4400 rpm.

I makes a diff. the korso springs made the clutch come in at to high an rpm for my type of rideing.

Not sure what rpm the red or the blue springs but the yellow are 3800 rpm.

Yes, the clutch springs change the engagement of the clutch. It's all trial and error at this point.

Aww frak it! :x I appreciate the input, I guess it's not worth the effort to swap 'em out. I'm pretty satisfied with how the clutch acts as is...just trying to get a little more torque, you all know how it is. Thanks for the help though.
