I have a CN250. I replaced the bearing @ shaft some months ago & noticed there were a few chips broken in a couple of gears. It didn't look too bad , but , I'm hearing an odd winding sound/metal too, as I go faster & slower.

It must be that I need to replace those gears.

It's my Coolster 250 single seater .....or Roketa GK-44.

On GY6 engines, parts 5 & 6 are pressed together. I have not opened a 250 transmission to see if it is the same way. This is something to be aware of when looking for replacement parts.

That link should be my engine ...I was just wanting to put this out there (early) if someone has these sitting around for sale OR cheaper AND , to buy from someone I know.

I wish I took pics back then.
But , I know I need at least two of them.

When it gets down to do the deed I'll crack it all open.

I think I'm going to crack it open in a day or three to see what's up.

My lady gave the ok for $$$ for this.


*** Does anyone know if the gears are the same in a gy6 ?
They do look similar.
I have an old one in my storage.
Should I crack it open & look .... or does anyone REALLY know they will not fit ?

Anybody know if gears & pin/roller bearings in a 150cc MAY be same/usable in a 250cc ?
