Well I got two kids that will be buggy'ing with me...a 4 year old and 7 year old. Just for putting around the yard I don't care, but I plan to actually get out this year. My concerns are that the 4-point harnesses in my buggy don't really fit them too snugly around the upper body. Lap is fine.

I was thinking car seats, but I'm not too fond of the ways by which I have of attaching them to the buggy, and I'm not sure how well they'll fit in my race buckets. Also, there's not a lot in the way of all-weather seats available. I can make it work with some modification, I was just hoping not to have to modify the seats more than what I've already done...and if I can just go ahead and accept that they'll be essentially aesthetically ruined the first time they get soaked and muddy.

My other idea is...and I don't know if these things are made...to get clips to secure the four-points over their chests like in their car seats. I'd seen some of these clips before but can't find them for sale. Have you guys seen such things before?

Lastly...anyone know of a clamp on passenger grab bar that isn't that $100 job on eBay?

I have a stripped down car seat , no base , zip-tied with foam tubing around head & arm area , foam seat/back , attached with strap-downs to the old seatbelt holes.

He's now 2.5 years old & I'll upgrade to a lil' bigger carseat with more lift.
It works great for how I drive...... & hose-able

*just crawl around a lot & ride in river , sand & mud

I sometimes put my grandkids in their car seats without the padding and buckle them up. The extra height pushes them up so the harness fits around them better.
