Dear BN Readers,

I had one of my customers that put a header and Weber Carb on his 800cc engine . I took it for a run last night and all I can say is WOW! I had another dealer who put the same mod on an 800cc and it beat an identical sandrail that had a Turbo installed. This mod costs about $1,100.00 but it is worth every penny.

Wow I want it. Where did they get the header? What weber carb was it and do you know if it bolted right up to the intake? Are you selling this kit? Any more info would be great.

I am interested! How about some pics and vids? Where do we get the mod? Who do we contact and how? I wonder what the turbo and headers would do for that 800cc? (Of course we still have to address the weak CV joints.) These engines have potential, they are just limited by the junk attached to it. [/i]

Dear SoCrates,

We will have it up on our parts site soon. The Kit costs $1,100.00 for Weber Carb and Header with Muffler. We need your intake manifold. I will get some Dyno results and pictures of it soon. This kit works on all 800cc sandrails (anyones 800cc) or the new 1000cc. It really make a big difference in performance. Make sure they are legal in the State you are from.

Hey guys,
I posted pics of this set up a while back. I know the kit is available thru Buggy World in El Cajon. I'm not sure who puts it together but I'll bet you can also get it from the guy in OC that sells the weber carbs. Also check with Sean.

Hey Sean,
I see you are requesting the intake manifold. Are you doing an intake manifold exchange? A modified one for the customer's stock one or are you modifying the customer's original intake as part of the kit cost?

Great question Mick. $1100 seems a little steep for a carb, headers and muffler. $500 would make it more paletable but I got a quote for headers for $230. Just can't see a carb and muffler adding up to be another $800 even with a mark-up. For $1100, I could send my motor out for a shave and a bore. Maybe I will do that before I spend the cash on a header or turbo. Lots of options out there, just want to do what is going to get me the most bang for the buck.

Right now the weak point in the system are those crappy CV joints. I know mine are going to come apart soon. I am guessing about $400-500 to fix that problem.

Sean, I know you all are working out all the details of the kit. I look forward to seeing the kit and what all is involved to justify the $1100 price tag.

Sean,
What is your website?

Dear ubintemec,

Go to www.team-moto.com for Parts and 1.0 liter Chinese built sandrails and www.super-kart for our new American built Super-Moto LT-2. I have posted pictures of this vehicle on BN already.

We have a few SK-1s and SK-2s (like the SK-4 except they have two seats). and one SK-4 in stock. These sandrails have 35hp Briggs & Stratton engines and feature our FNR differential with CVT.
