Got this from him "the buggy is a nst. The fuel pump is a vacume pump. The carb will need to be replaced because the electric choke is broke. Iwork with small engines all day there can be a veriety of fuel pumps.I started to repair it but ran out of monney. the lowest i would take would be 500. The repairs will cost about a onehundred dollars. If you could call me to set a time to go look at it that would be easier"

Ill take the compression gauge over and look at it this weekend. We can fix anything on a buggy so I am not too worried, just want to make sure that its popular enough that I will be able to get parts. I wish he would have sent better pictures. Is there a section on here for this buggy?

thanks everyone, i really appreciate it.

You should not have a problem getting engine parts. You don't need the whole carb if just the choke is not working.

I've seen very few buggies that aint worth 500. I dont care what anyone thinks. For 500 and 500 on a motor out of a wrecked snowmobile you got a 1000 buck buggy. You can sell just about any 250 for 1500 with time so under 500 in repairs and your good

Went and looked at it, decided to buy it. Guy even delivered it 35 miles to my house. Just got it home. It did have a fire, but nothing looks to be melted too bad. I havent went over it with a fine tooth comb yet but I think I got my 500 bucks worth. Checked out the parts it needs and I should have about 6-700 bucks into it to get it running.

Who has the cheapest/best parts? Who has parts for it?

Tell me what you see/think. You guys are the pro's...not me.

I for one think you got a good deal. I would take all the dirty diaper off it, clean it up, try to fire it.

I agree, get it all cleaned up and make a list of what needs to be replaced and what can be repaired. the fenders are around $80.00 so the rears might have to go

Thanks guys....whats the diaper?

I will get some clearer pictures today. Going to place the seats in it and put the rear fender back on. rack and gas tank can also go back on. Guy gave me all the bolts to put everything back on. I think it will be a pretty good buggy come next spring :) Just two semesters of school in between me and tons of fun.
