When do you want to have the 09 Bash? Opinion Poll included

I will go the last weekend in June, I think it will draw a lot more people, Plus I just found out that I can't get that week off from my job.

I have to submit my dates by Jan 6. So I hope we can nail this down soon.

Well, if we use some logic (I know, I know, "why start now?"), based on the number of those that have voted, early polls have it that the last week in June is the clear winner.

We had about 50 of us last year.
From the looks of things we should exceed that number in 2009.

We'll have more than 30 there.

John, RMB, wasn't there last year and this year he has other plans. His 1st baby will be born around the same time as the bash.

I was there in spirit!!!! lol... My comment was just referring to the amount of voters!!! Come on people!!! wake up!!!! get some folgers in your cups!!!!!

I wish i could make it this year... i guess I gotta get that good ole NE bash started soon... lol... maybe we can compete with teh national bash as we get into the new year with all our new members!!!!

Again, I will be at the national bash in spirit... Soon... Very soon... i'll be there!!!!!

Just to clarify, John's not talking about competing with the National Bash on a date. What he's talking about is only in attendance.

Historically the NE Bash is held in August of every year. Just before school starts and after most of us have completed our family vacations.

At the '08 NE Buggy Bash we had ~35 people there. With our current membership at the ~70 people level there's a good chance we'll be able to get 40-50 people at our NE Bash...

Now, back to our regularly scheduled '09 Steve Hopkins Memorial Bash Question... "When do you want the 09 Bash to occur?"

I think as soon as we lock in a date we'll be able to start really pushing for attendance.
