Good Morning all,
I am looking for a wiring diagram for a 2005 Gk 13 with a cf 250 engine. I have one but I dont know if it is the right one. It came from this link : download/file.php?id=24303&mode=view
Some of the wire colors are different. I was able to get the engine to crank, using the Ignition switch, but no spark.
There is some confusion with this schematic.
a) there is no blue wire from the Ignition switch and no blue wire going into the cdi unit.
b) There is a section named "main connector" . I dont see one, if there is where would it be located ?
c)The stator is shown as having 3 yello wires and 1 red wire. I have only found the 3 yellow wires from the stator, as well as blue and green, which come from the magnetic pulse generator. No red wire anywhere, coming from the stator.
There are two connectors going into the cdi unit. The schematic that I have shows the 4 way connector having only 3 wires in it that are colored : blue , green, and blk/yel.
My connector also has 3 wires labelled Grn/red, Blk/yel, blk.
The second cdi connector is labelled as having only 1 wire in the 3 way connector. This is shown to be a gray wire that connects to the mystery red wire going to the stator.
I have a red wire in that location at the cdi, which dissappears into the harness. I cannot tell where it connects.

ok it sounds like your engine is set up with a DC cdi and the diagram that you are looking at is for a AC cdi set up.you need 12 volt dc power to power your cdi and it is probably coming from the keyswitch. do you have any power on the wires( at cdi plug) with switch in the ON postion.

I thought the GK-13's had a cn250. Did they ever come with a cfMoto?
he bought this buggy to build back up and has put a different engine in it plus, got a bust gear box. so any help you guys could give him he would probably would be grateful. i'm not the best with these 250's wiring but from what he has said it sounds as he has a DC cdi and his stator is not wired to power a ac cdi and could use some help wiring it up.

I have also found another thing that strikes me as odd. There is a 3 wire connector coming from the rectifier unit, that has wires on the rectifier side and only two, leaving the harness side of the connector.

ok i'm not sure what keo means unless you mean while (cranking engine over) i think the (red wire) is what will power the cdi,12 volt dc green/red wire for magnetic pulse generator????,i think not sure track that wire and see if the color changes and hooks to the green wire from pulse generator black/yellow is power wire for coil black is ground. like i said i'm not up on these 250's a friend has a 2005 gk13 but i don't know when i will get to see him or buggy to look at his wiring. here is a 150 cdi diadram.look at the plug hook up on it and then tell us where the wires (on your plugs would hook up)using the numbers on the diagram. also maybe you could give pghruby a pm he is a good wiring person. and could give you some advice.

Pud,
I finally got some spark last night out of this thing and got it to start up today. I am assuming that the wiring for the engine is ok. and in the correct locations.
I borrowed some tools from work and found that the pulse generator was not giving a signal to the cdi unit. There was an open in the generator ground circuit. Repaired the wire and rechecked the signal. all ok now. Still need some parts. Hopefully someone can help.
Need:
reverse gearbox fuel tank radiator and fan linkage from shift bell crank to gearbox
I found an exhaust locally(stock) for a reasonable price.
By the way, how does a person fill the final drive gearcase with oil ? I dont see a fill plug.
