thank you chris i have sent my info , well i guess it cant hurt i think i'll trim that spring and see if there is any difference that leads me to the next question my 150 has a drive chain that was taken off by the previous owner to move it around easier i have the chain but he destroyed the master link removeing it ,the chain is in a bucket of pb blaster lubricant should i purchase a new chain or just replace the master i have a motorcycle shop a town over is this size chain a standard size or do i need a special link to find a new link?? thanks
You can get the chain at Lowes. As Peter said, it's a #50 chain. The even have a chain breaker and master links. It's in the hardware isle, left side, about half-way down the isle, bottom shelf.
man thanks again chris pretty cool that i can get that locally! i did trim the large spring down a bit and now the slide does bob up and down as i thought and was told it should but unfortunatly still not able to hit the pedal from idle and bring it up slow i did notice with the air box off if i hit the throttle hard looking in the carb at where the needle on the slide goes into a sleeve that you could see the fuel being pulled up and in i wasnt sure if that was normal? its not to often i look in to a running carb but none the less i cant wait to try another carb ! just a wild idea has anyone ever thought of rigging a vw carb to a homemade intake the tunability would be so much easier and the stock carb(30/31pict) for a 1600vw you can pick up from jc whitney for just around $110 i wish i had the means to fab up an intake

If the label is missing off the CVT cover and from under the driver's seat, you will have no VIN or manufacture date. There will still be a serial number etched into the engine just under the CVT cover, but it will not help with build dates.
Are the upper a-arms shorter than the lower? If so, it is an early 2004 or older model. The biggest difference was spindle design - Check out this link:
In 2005, Yerf-Dog brought out a fourth generation spindle that had the bolt going though the entire box structure of the spindle assembly and they welded the spacer on the shaft. If you have this model, it will not be sufficiently long enough to mount aftermarket hubs. Carter and Yerf-Dog made an integrated hub/rim that was 8x5, but I'm sure if these can still be found.
