That Carter is a Sweet looking ride. First one I have seen in blue. Looks great. I think if you got the version with the differential in the rear that fixed the turning problem. Did your dealer have any of the 300's in stock? Just curious why you went with the 250 over the 300. Also for as big as that Carter is, it doesn't appear to have much more seating room than the Yerf. Is this the case or is it just hard to tell from the pictures?
Have fun with them!

Well my dealer also runs a car repair shop and talking to him is like talking to a used car salesman. He had no 300's in stock and I asked him about one and he said they arent out yet....so I called him on that and he insisted nobody has them. I think he was confusing it with the Carter XPR 250 solid axle. But then again he didnt seem to know about that one either. So after he picked up my (4 days later) cart I asked him since he just started selling the Hammerheads could he get me a price on the 250SS. He said he didnt think the 250SS was as good as the Carter I should look at the Carter 300's He was looking into a price on both for me but never did call back and that was like a week ago. The 250 is really all I need but if the price was right on a 300 had he had one I would have gotten one.
The seating is not all that much different from the Yerf at least the feel just sitting in it, BUT I was only in it for like 20 minutes. I will measure when my Carter gets back Tuesday. The Roketa 150 GK-28 was the roomiest buggy I have sat in. Lots of leg room and shoulder room.

When you get it please post a comparison to your Yerf!
What comparison?
Actually come to think of it those 2 cars are the Yerf's of the automotive world. Not much to look at but easy to work on, perform great with a little tweaking and mod easily. Plus you get an 8 track player!

Those remind me of a Sunl buggy. I remember riding in my aunts Pinto and hoping it wouldnt blow up.
My pal across the street had a Nova. They can take a beating. I remember when he changed his transmission fluid and forgot to tighten it properly. He took it out to test it and didnt come back for a while, so me and another friend looked down and saw a thin trail of fluid and started following it. It became a wider , heavier trail until about 6 blocks away it was a giant blot on the ground and half a block away was him sitting in the car. He was too embarassed to walk back.

I had a Festiva when I was in high school. My friends nicknamed it "The Gumdrop". It performed quite well on the trails, it certainly seen a lot of them.

Ah nicknames for the vehicles. The same pal with the Nova bought one of those old Volkswagen vans in a weird light green color. We named it "The Booger". He sold it cus he couldnt stand us ragging him with the name anymore.
