got her back together and it cranked right up ...so all seems good so far with the engine.....the next thing is it has very little movement...will only move very slow at screaming throttle.....so I took the side cover off and ran the motor in forward and reverse and everything seems to be moving correctly....also ...is this a wet system as that is where the gear oil goes correct?

If you had the drive belt off, there is a good chance the weights in the variator went askew. Pull thee variator (front pulley) off and check the weights.

The final transmission behind the clutch uses gear oil. The CVT system is dry.

no I did not take the belt off .....where is the fill bolt for the trans?....I saw the drain bolt and drained it but I don't see the fill bolt?
