well i screwed up and ordered from some company in Oregon and way overpaid for a brake manifold and a brake switch. But it is OK you live and you learn. I just want to thank all of you for this parts list I wish there was a total list of things that would work for this buggy.

hey Lerchon.... it happens to the best of us... Roketa.com has some awsome prices.... other things are way overpriced...(it's strange...like thier timng belt is only $20...but the alternator belt is $26? doesnt make much sense since you can go to autozone and get a alternator belt for $6) other sites have the timing belt at like $125! its WAY all over the place with pricing.

Goka's website doesn't post prices...but I'm thinking I need to email him and get a list going of his rates...

I know I appreciate ease of ordering, and knowing the prices is one thing that makes ordering parts easier

you want to do something else that's difficult...try finding Headers or psiton rings etc....and a hot cam or something is impossible....yadda yadda...these 800cc gokarts / 1100cc leave alot to be desired in the parts availability department...

as far as a total list....well thier really isnt that much taht you can't fabricate or change to another brand or deign on these gokarts....customize em etc....the brake master cylinder for instance...you can change it to a cable actualted....use a VW master cyl....or another sand rail type brake master...out of a junkyard for instance..shade tree ingenuiity never stopped anyone

You guys have no idea how much we are getting ripped off from American suppliers and dealers. For example a couple years back I needed to get the Ignition Module and Magneto for our 800. Went to the auto parts store and the closest replacement was $275 from the 1987 Chevy Sprint. So I delved into finding them in China and walla, I did. I got ten of them for $6.00 each and if I purchased 100 or more it would have been $3.75 each. None the less the auto supplier is no longer around and I have given almost all away.

well I have learned my lesson, now I am in the middle of restoring this to running order since it say for 2 years or so. I am almost at the point where i can take it for a run. But What kind of oil would you recommend in Vegas weather? my buddy is in the process of installing three hella lights on the top and get rid of the factory, and then one down in the front. I am also this weekend getting new tires and a new steering wheel. Last night I had to change the oil pressure line because the old plastic tube dry rotten and broke in a million pieces. Next I need to get those seat covers from walmart and install those. Does the plastic insert in the seat just pull apart, like in the photo where the seat cover is tucked behind them?

thanks to all

GHOST the co-op is a GREAT idea for people wanting the same thing.... =D>

LERCHON... those seat covers are great...BUT...I had added some 1 1/2 foam to the passenger seat boittom and back area...for extra cushion for passengers......duct taped it in place...I ran out of it after getting the drivers seat BACK padded...well after 6 weeks of usage the seat cover tore at the seam because the seat dips down too much for it ...anyways...add some foam to the area where your buns go if you want to avaid the tear'age...that's my 2 cents

Hi Vegas,Lingdico i believe are the motors in TukTuk three wheelers,i know they converted to fuel injection a couple years ago.I don't know if TukTuk is still in bussiness. These motors are more refined than Chery, they have oversized pistons, under size crankshafts and some performance parts. You might try contacting them and see if they have parts source or distributor in U.S.Ghost

who is GOKA? because I hate dealing with the customer service with Roketa. I am a Veteran and hate dealing with rude I can't spell people, every time I call the lady is very short with me. Not to mention I went to setup an account because I need some more parts found the parts and they want me to put all my info my credit card info and the 3 digit on the back with no security at all, but they wont take a phone order either??? I got the new master cylinder, this time they sent the right one, But when I installed it I am having problems

the port closest to the front came cross threaded, I am a mechanic and I know for a fact that I didn't do it, when I first got this part it looked like a refurbished part, but I paid full price twice for it because I ordered from the wrong person, anyhow I am making this too long. So no matter how i screwed the line it it went cocked to the side would never go straight in I did check all threads before starting when taking out the old one, now I need to pray that roketa cooperates with me and takes a return. Then that means I have paid to return both parts and now I am up to almost 170 for the one part

next problem???? I install the whole thing, and now when i press the brakes the headlights come on? here is what I have done different since taking the old one out

steering column headlight thing broke off meaning the plastic rod for the HL
one bulb was blown so I took it out and when i went to find a comparable when i install it i get this problem when i take one bulb out it completes the circuit and bam the headlight and brake lights come on? I read somewhere that the wrong bulb could cause this but I am having a hard time believing that? anyone else experience this before? with old one in a standoff was broken so the headlights worked fine and the taillights too, now the tail lights dont work at all unless you press the brakes?

now i need new brake lines for the front anyone know where to get them they cost wayyyyyyy to much at roketa?

this sucks other than those two parts this thing is awesome, but without the brakes it is a giant paperweight lol

Sorry to here that about the Roketa service. Generally in the past for me, I've ordered online and haven't spoken direct. And as for the parts I think when they get crates of buggy's they use several of them for parts. Maybe? I've gotten brand new items and some look removed not used. When your dealing with these Chinese buggy's electrically, your best bet is to leave only the things that are being used connected. Especially the head lights they need to be isolated on there own circuit.

I am thinking of just cutting the wires to the headlights and making it its own circuit to a seperate switch. So I guess that will work.

So after taking a closer look the turn signals have a wire spliced to the headlights when starting to unwrap them i noticed there were three wires instead of the two that goes into lights. Man we need to teach someone how to wire: ).. When i get home i will try and see if it works or not. I called today to ask why their site isnt secure the girl asked me for my name, credit card and 3 digit on back then she hung up on me. I was angry so i called back and asked why she is always rude she asked

Do u want your order or not then hung up on me again

wow that SUCKS (service) I havent had much bad luck with them BUT Ive only called twice! I wired my headlights separate....with a 20A fuse right where it connects to the battery (I think stock it comes hooked up to alternator?)

anyways I also added a 15A fuse right at the headlamp switch (I used an autozone pull style switch with off/one set on/both sets on (I have 4 lights) and I added 2x 100W bulbs off ebay ($2.99 shipped! for the pair!) to the inner lamps when I want a BLAST of light (kc highlighters have 100w...so why not these chinese headlamps!)

Wired my brake lights to accessories on the ignition switch (also autozone) so no brake/tail lights unless key is in...wired em to be ON at all times when key on...(for safety) ofcourse the lights go bright when I hit the brakes

I wonder if somehow your rear brakebulb has a dual filiment bulb in a one filiment bulb spot? I replaced my rear brake light housings with walmart cheapie $6 ones...WORK GREAT! it has ONE bulb...3 wires...ground/running lamp/brake lamp bright (my kart had NO brake lights!) missing etc

not sure if the stocker uses 2 bulbs or something like that ...either way alot of people BUTCHER wiring...do it yourself...do it right. use heat shrink tubing too....and wire covers (cheap at harbor freight) makes for a clean install oh and FOR SURE something is wired in reverse or something is jacked if your headlights go on when a bulb is out lol...that's pretty bad

Vegas photoman where in Vegas are you? I live in North las vegas near centennial and commerce.

Anyhow I really like your suggestions in doing the wiring right now we have wired alot of this buggy over but there is alot more to do. yeah the customer service sucks but it is ok as long as I get my parts when i order them. I just wish I would have gone with a different company buggy and not this one. I will never recommend this type of buggy to anyone. If I cant get this right there maybe another buggy for sale in Las Vegas...lol thank you so much for your help

great new additions to the parts list. I installed some KC light from oreillys I got rid of the stock 5 lights on top and added 100watt a piece three across the top and one between the two headlights in the front mounted with a CB antenna mount on the front rail. turned out great. Now the reason for three across the top

two outside ones (one each side), will be pointed a little to each of its respective sides. the center on top and in front one will point up and the front to the ground for climbing hills and such. But needless to say there is enought lights = ). A bit over kill but it looks good. When i get time I will take pics of this beast.

I also got one of the fuse boxes from autozone so each of the lights has its own 20A fuse like the factory one but all in one place, so i didnt use the ones that came with the lights. I put the fuse box in the little box with the realys in the front fits good.
