What’s up guys? It’s been a minute since I’ve been around here, since then I sold all my buggies, and hadn’t had any for like 8 years. My cousins decided to build a custom full suspension go kart, the first time I saw it in his shop I couldn’t stay away from it! It’s a simple swing arm design, with Yamaha warrior rear shocks, generic eBay front shocks, and a suspension seat. It’s still a work in progress, but I thought I might share it here. So is the the drive sprocket in line with the swing arm pivot? It seems that would be the only way to keep consistent chain tension unless it uses some type of spring riding tension sprocket or block.

Yes, they are inline. The reason it was throwing the chain was the sprockets were slightly misaligned. Once we got them straight the chain stayed on.

Came back and my buddy had chopped up this go kart to make this thing. It’s a ton of fun and depending on how you look at it, it’s either the best, or the worst go kart ever!
