Hey all! here is a little project that I am currently about to finish, It's not quite the standard build for this site but I just want to share it here.i'll just pop out a few pics to see if there is any interests here
on this site for this type of build. well here goes ........

There is only one Pilot so far my 4 year old son and he loves it!

Well there is a bit of a story here ..the barbie Jeep was handed down to my daughter when she was 3 I had this old scooter hanging around.. and so the idea was born .....well my duaghter is now 9 and the jeep was stuffed behind the shed all the wile till my son asked "can I ride that"well here we are .
we will be running the Jeep in this years Canada Day Parade alog with some of our race bikes this explains the trailer

thats pretty nice i like it. i would like to build something like this for my son when he gets a little older hes only 9months now but before i know it he will be in a powerwheel.i have a few questions is that a weed eater motor? what did you use for a clutch? where did you get the shocks and the front a-arms and about how much did it cost you? sorry for all the questions but im very intrested in building one like this for my son

Well Craig the Engine and tranny are from a stand up scooter that I sacrificed for the build. The shocks well they come from various mountain bikes also sacraficed (they are a bit stiff) frame, a-arms ect are hand made for that body and those tires .. Cost well I work at a fab shop so all the welding ect was done by me at no cost. I had most of the little parts kickin around the yard and some parts were donated by my local Pricess Auto store!

My guess for total cost would be around $1000 to $1500 + labor..

thanks for the info i found motor and tranny off a pocket bike for only like $60 i can do all the welding and other stuff only thing would be the shocks and the a_arms since i dont have a tubing bender

sorry to bother you again but had a few more question what did you do for spindles and breaks also the axle is it home made as well or did you get it off of something elese
