I now have a cable operated choke for the GY6, it takes the place of the troublesome eletric choke. kit comes with a new choke housing, cable, needle and spring, and a control lever.

I have tested these on a 05 talon, 07 twister, 07 Blade, 05 kinroad 150. they fit and work great. just remove the old choke and housing and electrical wire, install the new choke and housing and mount the control lever.

I have a shipment of 16 that will be here wednesday. the next shipment will be in november and there will be 50 on that one.

The price will be around $ xx.xx+shipping. the control lever maybe diff from whats pictured

Tu She Travis, I was always under the impression that it was not allowed. I know where you read that and that is how it reads, but where do we draw the line. I would never have a problem with you regulars posting prices. What would we do if Sunl's and the Roketa's of the world came on here and started posting prices all over the place. What about that whole Dr. Pulley promo? Under that rule, they would be able to run a promo like they wanted to. Is that fair?

I love this idea, I always have people asking me about a manual coversion. I think that the demand will be fairly high for these, and I am excited to see that Eric has completed the project and making them available. Way to Go Eric...

And JABO, your just a big meanie!! but I always thought the same as U, that we could only post pricing if we were a sponsoring dealer. HMM. (LOL)

That's a great setup you got there BigE!!
I imagine every dealer out there should have at least one of those on the shelf for when a customers auto choke starts giving them problems. I've had a few people ask about something like that and will send em your way!

I believe all Moderators have to thoroughly test these type products out on their own personal buggies before they can be offered to our beloved members. Isn't that right Jabo?

Not funny when it revs up while your infront of it!

You need to do something about that before somebody gets hurt! Worse yet, YOU! Then who would Jabo and Blister have to pick on? O:)

Don't give BIGE any more strange ideas than he already has

They only fit the 24mm GY6 carburetor - No one has found a manual choke to fit the location where 28mm, 30mm, 32mm CV carburetors hold their automatic one.

Well someone needs to make one for the larger carbs. I put the cable operated choke on my 150 and it works alot better than the automatic ever did.
