The answer will always be yes. It depend on how many changes you will need to do.
This is for a bike / small quad, mean the wires might not be enough long. Also, the CDI might not be suitable for your machine. The top image compare to the one you see on the listing down the page are different. You'll need to rewire the regulator somehow because it's a different plug from your original one. The ignition switch is also different, this one turn on and you have a push button to start the engine.
Bottom line, it all depend on you.
From my point of view, I would take the original parts and make the wiring, this way you can follow the plan. If you take this wiring harness, you need to know that some parts might not work and it make it more complicated to find the why it won't work because they are not the original parts.
Is there anyway I can save this hassle and just buy one already made am willing to pay shipping if necessary so if you can locate the right one for me would be much appreciated av actually got in my sisters garden and I need it running and get it moved round into the garage a tried everything to trace original wires however there was just to much going on and previous owner has ripped cut and shredded them so a thought best option was cut them of and start from full new wiring loom but by the sounds of it I have done the wrong move. So I had the starter motor turning originally but was just draining the battery and not supplying any spark as it was like it was a struggle for it to turn am at a dead end here how much does original wire cost usually

We will not find a Dazon wiring harness in the US because Dazon stopped selling in this market years ago. The best we can do is modify another harness or fix the original. Maybe Dazon still sells in the UK and you have access to spare parts, we do not and have to find cross compatible parts that fit or can be modified.

I sent Zack some resources on who to contact for a custom harness or parts to build one. If anyone else has the time or resources to help him, feel free to contact him. Although I have done this in the past for friends nearby, I do not have the time to make an engine harness for a buggy which I do not have in front of me.

It looks generic since it is for more than one type of engine (the gy6 is an air-cooled 150cc). It may also mean you will have to figure what works with yours and what does not. Contact the seller and get the details.

This one look better than the other one for sure. Like PGH said, ask question to the seller. As for the GY6 statement, China started calling everything GY6 now.

You came up with this solution and this is fine, you go with what you think is best for you. In my case I like to learn and I would redo the wiring.
Here's some questions for you. I'm asking because I try to learn things.
Why you took this solution?
How much do you understand in wiring and reading plan?
I am just trying to understand and that will help me when I explain to people electrical problem. This is not an easy task and we all start like you. I didn't know the first time I did it and burned electrical and anything that can happen, happened to me.
You can buy anything in life but one thing, you can't buy knowledge! Your answer will really help me if I end up make the video I was talking about. I need to make sure people will understand and knowing what stop people, I will be able to include it in it and make sure people will follow.
Well I bought the buggy as abit of a project for £100 what I thought is a real good bargain. The engine hasn't ran in over a year but wasnt seized and was running great until previous owner hacked at wiring trying to get parts for another buggy he had. So a picked this wiring because the diagram a was looking over was the right one but Chinese just had all the wires different colours and certain parts were completely knackered so av went with the route of just paying $185 us dollars what is around £95 over here so think for the money and the advice I have been getting off here a think was just best to go this route. Thanks to you max and all the rest of the lovely people on this site for the excellent help and brilliant knowledge on this. People on here someone with the knowledge should definitely make these parts and sell them on once I have this new one a might even do the custom ones for this buggy myself. Look forward to seeing your video post a clip on this I will jump on and have a look my friend d do you get an app over there called whattsapp

Thanks for the answer. Yes it get confusing when you have to figure out the plan and also switch the colors and trace everything.
You're welcome for the answers. I've been thru the same thing as you before, many times and I learned it. Now I tried to help people going forward and get their machines going. It also help me understand what people find easy and hard.
As for the wiring put together and sale it. Every machines have something that change on them, length of wires, different place for components. The problem is not 1 wiring harness fit all.
I know whatsapp but do not use it. I prefer to use forum like this one as it help more than 1 person.
Mechanically I'm good could take engine to bits and re build not a problem however wiring not so good anything else Chinese bikes quads am great with wiring usually re do all wiring myself but this was a nightmare as previous owner had hacked it to death lol the worst thing about it was buying and dealing with someone else's make babies ups however now this loom should be here in next couple weeks so looking forward to it got the manufacturer labelling it all for me aswell been in talk with them and they have sent me pics of buggys they have been put in etc and everything is same as mine so fingers crossed it all goes to plan. Engine has been flushed greased and re built so just cant wait to get it going now and move onto the next project once it's up and running a will get a pic to use to let yous see . Maxp you have been an excellent help man fair chuffed never really used a website like this before for help with anything but will always keep yous in mind and anyone I come along who is going through a little bit of a struggle like me I will pass them this site and yours and couple other guys out that's helped me on heres names. No I was asking about whattsapp because free message picture message service so could have sent you some videos etc.. but thats no problem atal man not much place for buggys around my area and a dont have a transporter to go out when ever I feel like it so this was to fix up and sell my uncle has a transporter for cars but hes a busy man buying and selling cars at auction. Think my next project might be one seater buggy with 150cc engine little smaller as guy bought this one of I have the now hes got couple bikes go kart few quads so all just keep buying them cheap and making a wee turn here and there in for a penny in for a pound lol. This pic is last pic I took of the thing but it's now all painted cleaned and ready to go just waiting on wiring so soon as that's here all take it a blast up the street and back then will be up for sale in no time if a dont get the bug and decide to keep it that is Haha. Great help guys the lot of yous thanks ever so much again

I am pretty good in electrical problem but not as good in the mechanic side. I can do basic thing in mechanic but need to learn how to get more performance out of the engine ...
Post back the result for the wiring harness, that will help other people in the future that will have the same problem as you.
Right guys so am getting a spark its turning over everything seems fine and dandy however a just cant seem to get it started what is the best option now?
So my wiring harness arrived today works great turning starter motor over nice clean spark but now still cant get it fired up any suggestions could this be to do with the automatic choke?

Remove the air filter assembly, spray gas in the carburetor. If the machine start for a few seconds mean the spark is good and the timing / valve adjustment too.
Do that a few times and after, try just to start it without the air filter. If it don't start, check the fuel coming in, I know those carburetor sometime the float get stuck. Tap on the bowl slightly and test it again. Make sure the gas is coming in, you can remove the fuel line from the carburetor, you should have an on - off - reserve petcock on this machine use it to see if everything work.
Last, is to put back the air filter and see if the machine will start.
