Well it looks like I have the common issue of popping out of low range. I tore it apart and sure enough, the low range gear is damaged; as is the gear it engages with. Apparently these parts are no longer manufactured. I took them to a machinist and he said it could not be repaired with any reliablity. Having new gears cut would be more than I paid for the buggy.
Does anyone have any parts of this type kicking around, or any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

I've got the same problem and have given up on finding any drivetrain parts the CF250 engine. I bought a used set from Joyner that turned out to be junk. If you want to fix it, you'll probably have to have them made. Which is not very cost effective imo.
