I was backing my buggy into my truck this morning and it stalled. I couldn't for the life of me start it. I had to go to work without it. Anyways, I left work to go home and try it again, still nothing. Then I noticed the spark plug wire melted to my new pipe. It didn't melt it all the way through, it does look like some of the wire is frayed or broken. I covered it with another piece of hose. Put it back on and it started right up. Now it doesn't seem to have the same touque as it did before. Is it a coincidence or is it something else?
probably not firing as hot now, I would say get a new one, I guess you could measure resistance and all that but if you melted it bad enough to short out on your pipe I would go ahead and replace it.
