I know a guy. He's a Ford transmission expert, but does buggy work on the side. He's pretty good.

How about the ignition switch? I've had them die like that with a bad one, too.

Edit: Given what your multi-meter is telling you, sounds like a bad regulator?

Bring firewood if ya got it! Ummmm I could be wrong (but I doubt it)! You probably are going to have to get wood from there. Pretty much all camping areas in pretty much everywhere, don't want you bringing your own wood, to stop the infestation of the emerald ash beetle. Now I believe the exception...
