Got this trailmaster 150. Runs fantastic now. Already put 10g rollers. Still needs more juice. Struggles up hills, it'll run about 42 if you hold it out long enough. Any other suggestions? Id love to be able to climb hills but not lose too much top speed. Will I be wasting my time and money? Should I just buy a trailmaster 300? Anybody have any personal experience with them?

So 300s aren't gutless like this stock 150? How well do they do on hills? And casual trail riding?

Are they good out the box? Or are cvt mods necessary? We're taking our 150 for the first time to Durhamtown in ga to test it out for the first time Thursday to see how it does. The tm 300s don't have a h/l tranny do they? Just a high gear? How's reliability?

I have a Hammerhead 250SS and I like it a lot more than any of the 150cc buggies I've owned or driven off road. The HH 250SS is pretty much the same buggy as the TM 300 XRX, just different engines. The HH 250SS has the CFmoto 250 engine with the high/low gearbox, the TM has a Linhai engine and does not have a low gear.
Durhamtown is still fun with a 150cc buggy, but after a while I used to get worn out from the swing arm suspension. The 250SS & 300 XRX has rear independent suspension and it's a much nicer ride.
The 300XRX will have more torque and power out of the box than the 150cc buggy, and that will make it easier to get to places. Don't know about the reliability as I've never owned a TM 300.

Thanks so much. Gonna be riding all day tomorrow and Friday at durhamtown. Well see how it does and if my wife's gonna be complaining about the ride. I guess if she is, a 300 xrx is in my future lol.
