Ive recently picked up a HammerHead Twister 150 and played hell ever getting it to fire. Wound being the stator (8 pole with DC CDI using both pins in the two wire plug) and at the time all i had was an AC 6 pole stator from a 125 so i swapped it over and got it running but it sounds like its knocking so rebuild or swap pretty soon. (Edit. it lost all compression this afternoon...maybe it was piston slap i was hearing this whole time???)

Ive got a good running 125 and another 150 LHQMJ from a yerf spiderbox (dont know if it runs or not) where should i start as far as performance parts go? Can i just build off the 125 case since its in good running condition?

Question 2...Finally got it runnig smooth as butter from idle to wot...But ive been running it without any sorta filter..just open carb (got a uni ordered) but the jetting is wierd.. (i know i cant get it right till i get a filter) The more free flowing the bigger the jets right? Well it seems this one likes smaller jets even with open intake...anything over 107 main and it just bogs..pilot is 35 i think. (None of this matters once i get a filter but just curios why it wont take to the bigger jets.)

Question 2...where can i get the lil cylinder thing that goes on the reverse box? I gotta get a cable but the cables dont come with that piece and im not buying a whole new reverse assembly just for one part.

I read the yerf 150s have the big valve head???? or is it only the "P" motors

I can only help you with the last question because I had the EXACT same issue a few months back when I had the reverse on my YD spiderbox... I bought it second hand missing a few parts...

I forget his username (sorry) but check him out at gopowersports.com. They put it in the store for me a few months back and I bought it... I think they charged 30-40 bucks for it??? If you contact them on the website they'll help out.

Ok well i just picked up a crossfire 150 and swapped carb uni and exaust from the hammerhead and its still only taking to small jets....100 main runs really good but plug is reading lean and 105 main has a noticeable power loss??? Whats with it only wanting to run with small jets?

Test the choke system- If that checks out-

Spray carb cleaner around the manifold for air leaks and cracks....also make sure vacuum line from manifold (and any others) to carb is not plugged or leaking

Seems to be all the time. think im gonna just rebuild the topend and be done with it. Also need oil lines for the hammer head and buggy depot dont have papal and it claims my cvv code is wrong when its clear as day on my card and i can use it on other sites just fine.
