Here is the link to the FB8 engine service I put together from scans/jpgs obtained from the Mightyboy Club of Australia site:

Just hit the bookmark tab to help navigate the document.

https://www.buggynews.com/files/800ccEngineService.pdf

While this is a helpful reference item, it is not very clear on the "how to". It makes the assumption that the user is familar with many component assemblies. I found the two "shop" manuals from Haynes and Chilton for the 1985-2001 Chevy Sprint and Geo Metro to be a great source for the "how to" in conjunction with the FB8 manual.

The FB8 is very similar in design to the early 1 liter MK1 G10 model. So the instructions for detailed disassembly and reassembly of specific parts contained in the Haynes and Chilton books are relavent to the FB8.

Between the three, most everything can be found.

Thanks to Steve for hosting this.
Regards,
Mick

Hello,I need some help with parts for a 800cc Huaihai electric fuel injection motor.
I THINK it's a idol sincere. It has three letters on the out side of it VDO and what looks to be a part number
The first number is on top it is #D5184 the second number is just below the first and it is #01183.
I hope you can help me or you know of someone who can. Thank you very much for your time.

The "Roketa" warehouse is some where down in your area, I think Ontario. You could call Roketa and see what they have in stock. Most parts are available but if not they can surely get them.
http://www.roketa.com/product/productlist/259.shtml
look in the "contact" section on the Roketa sight for the address and phone
